Always a great experience!

Very cosy hotel. The restaurant had amazin food for dinner, the view of the slopes and morning sunrise while having breakfast always make this hotel very special. Always a pleasant visit.

If this hotel had a large swimming pool it would have everything one could want from a winter vacation. Everything else is great.

Great room but inexperienced staff and poor cooking

Nice lobby and nice room with great beds. Lovely Christmas decoration outdoors.

The TB Grill was over priced and the food was like a school canteen, however the furniture were nice and cool.

would have been fine for a short stay if 3/4 nights but too long to stay 8 nights.

the bed was very comfortable, lovely views from bedroom window and able to ski straight out if the hotel.

Heating in room not good and couldn’t get it adjusted. if you like tea take your own tea bags as they ran out 2 days there. there are not 13 restaurants as advertised- only 2 in restaurant (a la carts) , a pizza/burger one nearby( very good with lovely atmosphere) and Jacks Shack on the slopes. the cafe was hardly ever open and I think the others were at the sister Hotel which is 1km away.

Amazing first time experience in the mountains!

I liked how big the complex was. There was a lot of restaurants, places to relax and the view was breathtaking! My partner does not like fish, but I really wanted to try out the Sea Food Bar. Sara who worked there made it possible for me to have sea food and hamburgers for my partner! Thank you for making that evening extra special Sara!

If not for the bed, it would have been almost perfect.

Amazing view, really good restaurants and an amazing piano bar. Staff really great.

Didn’t like the bed. Any small movement and the entire bed moves like an ocean, making it hard to share it with spouse.

Fantastic athmosphere all over

Great location just beside ski area, possibility to rent ski in hotel’s basement (also cross-skiing), great free parking, amazing athmosphere in lobby and restaurant, spacy room, great bed.

The hotel did not succeed to print invoice neither receipt for received payment when checking out. They promised to send this on e-mail later that day, but they did not send us the invoice before two days after, when we sent a reminder.

Stayed one night before the Vasalopp. I raced 90km the next day.

The location was good. A big hotel with lots of facilities.

Had to pay 100kr for an early breakfast. Which I don't understand why, breakfast was included. The guests in the room above were very noisy. This combined with the very soft bed caused a bad night's sleep.

Great location for skiing!

The hotel had an excellent location. You can literally walk out and ski. There is a shop for buying or renting ski equipment, which was really handy. You can ski next to the hotel, which has slopes for beginners or you can take the lifts to Lindvallen, which has more challenging slopes. The hotel itself is quite fancy and the breakfast was excellent. If you have children there are many activity rooms for them.

The hotel says it has a spa, but I don't think two saunas can be called a spa! The restaurants are quite expensive.

a nice hotel ruined by bad management

We were initially given a smaller room with 2 single beds and with worse view than the one we had booked and we were told that we were given "a free upgrade" (when it was actually a downgrade!). After we complained we were eventually given back the original rooms we had booked which were satisfactory. However the girl at the reservations was lacking basic courtesy skills. We stayed 4 days and also for the new year eve dinner/celebration at Vinterträdgården. The food quality (and quantity) was subpar for the price (2400sek/person). I guess this was probably due to the hotel owners/managers having invited half of the attendees for free (as friends/personal contacts), as it was revealed by the main singer at the event, and we had to pay for all the free-riders, resulting in a dinner that was not at all worth the price. The band left at 23.15 and we were left with prerecorded music for the rest of the night and the change of the year. Simply ridiculous!! If the managers do not stop using the hotel to cater their friends and start putting more emphasis on their paying customers, we will not visit Högis again. As a sidenote, the hotel is advertised as having a spa, but there is no pool.

Only one night this time but will be returning, including this season, for longer stays.

The food we had at the elegant restaurant the evening of our arrival was amazing, some of the best food I had in Sweden to be honest. Also the location so close to the sky slope was great. The overall feel and deco of the hotel was the best part, it was very cosy.

The breakfast was poor and could use more diversity (we missed our sunny side up fried eggs or more vegetables) There was no swimming pool which is to be expected for the price (of course we already knew there was none, just for future reference)
